Notes for alkaline batteries:
¡Ü Suggest not to charge usedup alkaline batteries. The alkaline batteries which are discharged to be less than 0.9v have probably been damaged and zinc inside have been used up. Strictly speaking, to charge alkaline batteries is a progress to activate them, not charge them really. The alkaline batteries which can¡¯t be activated within given time and meanwhile will get heated during the charging process can¡¯t be used any more.
¡Ü The unit is more effective for the alkaline batteries which are used in high power consumption devices such as digital camera, toys of four-wheel drive cars, toys of electric cars etc(working current is over 300mA) and can activate them more times.
¡Ü As alkaline batteries have ¡°inertial memory¡±, it¡¯s better for the batteries activated by the unit to be used back in the original devices.
¡Ü Please don¡¯t use the unit to charge defective alkaline batteries or the alkaline batteries are long-time used in low power consumption devices such as remote controllers and clocks etc.(working current is less than 200mA). How much power the battery can charge is related to the internal chemical materials of the battery, it is not related to the charger. If the battery is over-discharged below 0.9V, the battery may only be charged from 1.2V to 1.4V, and it cannot be charged above 1.5V.
In addition, the battery has a ring life. When it reaches about 50% of the ring life, its power can only be restored to 1.2V to 1.4V.
